All Grown Up!

Hannah's preschool journey is over, and we have already begun the transition to kindergarten. Wednesday was her last day, and they celebrated with a beach party. She loved wearing her beach outfit to school.

We have already gone to her kindergarten transition workshops at the elementary school and the teachers agree on one thing: she is so ready! I hope I can keep her busy enough this summer and the excitement of going doesn't wear off.

Meanwhile, we can't forget about Ben, he's getting ready to start his preschool journey. He is also very excited and I'm happy he gets to do something that is considered "being big". He even just learned how to ride his tricycle, he still needs practice, but it's nice to see him learning new things.

What will Jefferson be doing, coming back to work with mommy of course, hopefully I'll be teaching a baby class or two!

Stayin cool!

I've had some requests for new Jefferson pictures. These are him this week just hanging out and staying cool in the heat (it was 93 yesterday). He hit the three month mark so I brought out all the summer outfits we received. There's nothing cuter than a baby in the summer!

Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend. We're planning on staying home and doing family stuff, I'm sure there will grilling and lots of food involved.

A Perfect Day for Mom

I could not have asked for a better Mother's Day than the one I had today. I'm so lucky to have kids and a husband who love me so much! This morning I opened my treasure-themed presents, the National Treasure 2 DVD and a beautiful mom's ring with the kids birhtstones. The idea being that I am very treasured.

We spent the day outside at Taughannock Falls in the Finger Lakes.

The kids did great hiking and I loved being out with the family in this beautiful spot. I'm hoping we'll make it a tradition.

Happy Mother's Day!

Ni hao!

Ni hao from Hannah and Ben. They loved their chinese outfits so much I decided they can wear them for pajamas, why not right?

While I was busy getting pictures of Hannah and Ben, Jefferson was busy practicing on the guitar, he'll be jammin with everyone very soon I think.

We had a fun weekend and hope you did too!
