Ben's Three!

The excitement has been going for a whole week now! Ben's birthday celebrations started last saturday when his friends came over for a party. Like last year, the weather did not cooperate, so we partied inside. The kids kept busy with punch balloons, noise makers, and dance music. We even went on a special scavenger hunt to find the cake.

Ben thought his cake (decorated with m&ms) was super delicious!

Hoarding all the ballons, but having a really good time.

On Tuesday, his actual birthday, he opened all his yellow presents from us.

Dinosaurs, he's been waiting for these.

Hannah and Jefferson did a good job of sitting back and letting Ben enjoy the spotlight, well, really it was for about five minutes, Hannah was very excited about new toys in the house and couldn't wait to get her hands on them.

His new digger for the yard.

Singing "Happy Birthday" again with his cookie cake today, it was another day of gift opening from Daddy's side of the family.

Ben had a really fabulous birthday week, thanks for all the gifts everyone! I think Ben is starting to get how special he is and that we love him so much.

Four month celebration

Yea! Four months! We were so happy for Jefferson we took a trip to the doctor's office, which went exceptionally well considering I took all three kids, and then we came home to make delicous oatmeal cranberry cookies. I'm sure Jefferson appreciates that we're having a good time on his four month anniversary.

Also, can you see which children share the same eyes, someone is going to be a lot like his big sister (um, not Ben!).

Woohoo! It's finally finished!

Wow, it's like I can't believe it's finally done. Most of you know what a project this was. It's done, and the kids love it. The only way I got them off it this morning was them knowing we were going out for donuts, it is National Donut Day.

Call it a swing set, call it a jungle gym, I call it outdoor entertainment for the next ten years.

While Hannah and Ben were out, Jefferson and I cleaned up the kitchen. Well, I cleaned, he sat in the high chair and smiled at me.
