Jam Session

Best Buy had a Guitar Hero guitar on sale this week. I decided to get it so we can play multiplayer on our next guys game night. Hannah has been watching me play and wanted to try it herself.



Granted she was playing in practice mode so she wouldn't get booed off the stage, but she was having fun rocking the living room. I got Ben to join in on the bass for a co-op jam session.



Hannah decided to get in close behind Ben for the big instrumental section; or maybe she just couldn't stand Ben getting pictures by himself. Either way they look quite cool together.



They're now looking for an agent and another venue for their next gig.

Easter Day Celebration

This Easter went as most Easter's do: an egg hunt, candy for breakfast, dress up for church, candy for lunch, relax and nap, ham and candy for dinner, and at our house, carrot cake for dessert.

That Easter bunny sure was clever this year, it took Hannah awhile to find her hanging basket.


Already breaking into the chocolate bunnies, he received other fun things from bunny too, a watering can and digger, plastic snakes, fish crackers and a lollipop.

Two months and growing

Jefferson is quite a different baby than he was a month ago. He's got at least a pound of new baby chubbiness added, he looks at you when he talks to him, and even cracks a smile every now and then.

I call this the "I'm going to get cranky really soon". Sorry it's sideways, I don't know why blogger did this.


We can only imagine what he's thinking, probably, "I'm hungry".


"I know I can lift my head high enough to see mommy, she's behind that bright orange light somewhere".


I know my blogs have been longer lately, with more pictures, but it's so hard to choose just one when he's so cute and does different things. I hope this helps all of you to know him better. Have a great Easter everyone.

Ben Block Tower

Ben asked me to build a "Ben block tower." I don't know about you, but I have trouble telling them apart.


Of course, the whole point of building a block tower is to knock it over.
