Take Me Out to the Baseball Man

Hannah and Ben went to their baseball game - or at least 4/9 of a baseball game. I got free tickets through work, so we figured we couldn't lose. All day Hannah was excited about going to see the "Baseball Man."

As you know, the game itself is only part of the experience. We got a hot dog, fries, nachos and ice cream. We debated cotton candy, but decided it was kind of late for that much sugar.

Ben slept the whole time, but Hannah wouldn't stop wiggling. At one point she actually started saying "wiggle wiggle wiggle" as she did it. We tried to tell her watch the guy try to hit the ball and run run run to first base. She wasn't interested.

All in all, the "free" game cost us about $22.50.

What stadium/team is in your area? Sorry, I'm a bit of baseball nut.

Natasha and Ethan have both been to a bunch of Pirates games. Natasha's first game was 3 months after she was born. Ethan's was 2 months after he was born. Natasha has also been to Yankee Stadium (but she was only 13 months old and she slept the entire time).

Natasha loves going to the "baseball game!" (always with the exclamation point). She especially likes the fireworks. Hey, even the Pirates can hit a home run from time to time.

the Syracuse Skychiefs are a minor league team affiliated with Toronto, I believe. They play at Alliance Bank Stadium, formerly P&C Park.

You can get front row seats and put your feet up on the home team dugout for only 8 bucks. That doesn't even get you peanut gallery seats at PNC park, does it?

This stadium is also home to the Syracuse Salty Dogs, a United Soccer Leagues team. We haven't seen them play yet, but I have been meaning to go.

Syracuse also has a hockey team and a minor league arena football team.
